My Review:
This book kept me on the edge of the seat all throughout. It was cleverly written. Its about Rachel, whose sister went missing for thirteen days, who decided to investigate on her own. So she went to the place where her sister, Leah was last seen, in a radical church. Its pastor introduces her to Tim, who is remembering his brother’s death exactly a year ago., March 14th. Tim volunteers to help her find her sister. Their first visit is with Leah’s boyfriend, Mason, who revealed several shocking confessions.
I really like the writing style where there were insertions of videos of some people, whose identities were revealed near the end. This book will keep you guessing until you will be surprised at the revelations. This is the first Maura Jortner book that I’ve read and definitely wont be the last. I really look forward to this kind of thriller, mystery that will keep you on your toes. This story is definitely recommendable to mystery fans.
I was given an advance readers copy of this book that I chose to voluntarily review.
